We ship all our packages with either DPD or UPS Express. You can choose which service you want to use upon check-out. 

The shipping costs of the packages is depending on the country to which the package needs to be shipped and if you choose for DPD or UPS. Below you can find more information per country.

SHIPPING WITH DPD

The Netherlands: Shipping costs are €6,95 per package and you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €50,- before shipping costs. 

Belgium: Shipping costs are €8,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €75,- before shipping costs.

Germany: Shipping costs are €8,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €75,- before shipping costs.

Denmark: Shipping costs are €12,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €100,- before shipping costs.

Luxembourg: Shipping costs are €9,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €100,- before shipping costs.

France: Shipping costs are €13,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €100,- before shipping costs.

Austria: Shipping costs are €12,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €100,- before shipping costs.

Sweden: Shipping costs are €21,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €150,- before shipping costs.

Ireland: Shipping costs are €22,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €175,- before shipping costs.

Spain: Shipping costs are €23,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €175,- before shipping cost.

Italy: Shipping costs are €21,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €175,- before shipping costs.

Portugal: Shipping costs are €34,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €200,- before shipping costs.

Croatia: Shipping costs are €39,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €200,- before shipping costs.

Czech Republic & Poland: Shipping costs are €30,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €200,- before shipping costs.

Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia: Shipping costs are €39,95 per package with you’ll have free shipping when spending a minimum of €200,- before shipping cost.

Malta, Cyprus, Finland and Greece: We can only ship plants with UPS. Please read the information below for this service.

SHIPPING WITH UPS

For a quick(er) delivery you can choose for UPS Express service. Normally the costs for UPS Express are €45,- per package. How ever a supplement can apply when you live in a remote area. This supplement can be charged after you have finalized the order. If an additional fee is applicable we will first contact you before we ship the order. This way you always know the exact costs before we ship out your parcel. If the additional costs are too high you are allowed to cancel the order.

Shipping with UPS Express is possible in all countries that are stated above and in addition also possible to the following countries: Cyprus, Finland, Malta and Greece.
(We don’t use UPS for shippings within The Netherlands.)

Packages are normally dispatched within 1 to 5 workdays. Once your order has been dispatched you’ll receive an e-mail with the Track & Trace code, so you can follow your package. If for any reason your package will be send out on a later date, we’ll of course inform you.

Packages within The Netherlands and Belgium can be send out from Monday till Thursday.
All international packages that are being shipped with DPD are send out either on Mondays or Tuesdays only so your package should arrive at your home before the weekend. If you have chosen for UPS Express service your package could also be send out on Wednesday.

Shipping during Corona
Please keep in mind that delays can happen during this time. it’s extremely busy at various shipping companies at the moment. Also measures taken in different countries can have an effect on shipping time. 
Currently more and more countries are ‘opening up’, however this does not mean there are and will no more delays. Delays can always happen due to many different reasons. Therefor and with the knowledge shipping is at your own risk. As much as we wish, we don’t have any influence on shipping times.

It is not possible to choose your delivery date. All international packages (except for Belgium and The Netherlands) will be send out on Monday or Tuesday. Depending on the shipping time your package will arrive later that same week*.

If you live in The Netherlands or Belgium we will ship out your package from Monday til Thursday. If you have a preferred delivery date please mention so in the notes when making your order. Even though it is not a guarantee, we will try to do everything we can to get the package to your on the date that you wish. 

* Please keep in mind delays can always happen. We have no influence on possible delays of packages.

We recommend you to only purchase plants when you are home to receive the plants.
Your package will be dispatched within 5 workdays after you have made the order. If you make an order while you are away (on holiday) or just before you will leave please keep this and the shipping time in mind before your purchase. We cannot store your plants for you until you get back unfortunately. We don’t have enough space to do so.

Of course it is possible to pick up your order at our office. At the check out simply choose for the option ‘local pick up Ridderkerk’. After we have received your order we will contact you to make an appointment. 

Pick up during Covid-19
The possibility for a local pick up can be subjected to extra rules or measures while the Covid-19 pandemic is amongst us. When picking up your order we will do everything we can to secure a safe pick up. For the safety of us all please keep in mind the following measures:
– Only come for a pick up at the agreed day/time. When you can’t make it to the appointment.
– When you have the slightest health complaints related to Covid-19 please let us know. We’re happy to reschedule your appointment to another moment.
– Only 1 person at the time is allowed in the office.
– Always where a face mask inside our office (we will do so too).
– Keep 1,5 meter distance from our staff (we will do so too).

Are you unexpectedly not at home when your package is delivered? No worries. The deliverer will try again the next day. Normally they will try to deliver your package to you two times. If both times the delivery fails the parcel will be returned to our office.

The Netherlands and Belgium: Our regular shipping days are from Monday until Thursday.

Other countries: All international packages with DPD will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday, depending on the transit time. By doing this your plants should arrive at your home before the weekend and we minimize the risk for the plants to get stuck in a warehouse over the weekend*. If you have chosen for a delivery with UPS Express we can send out your parcel from Monday until Wednesday.

* Please be aware that delays can always happen due to various reasons. Especially in the current time delays can be expected. As we have no influence on transit times we are not responsible for any delays. 

We do our utmost to pack your plants as well as possible in order to prevent damage. The plants sit in a sturdy box, with stuffing material if necessary. The package boxes are also provided with a ‘ fragile ‘ sticker.

We ship our plants all year round. Only with extreme heath or cold it’s possible that we have to postpone the shipment. Many plants do not tolerate these weather conditions and that would be a shame. Of course you will get message as soon as possible if these circumstances are reached.

Please check out the weather conditions in your own country before you make a purchase. We base our shippings on the weather conditions in The Netherlands and cannot check all local weather reports around Europe. Be wise and check out your own local weather forecast.
