Clay Granulates are the perfect substrate for your Succulents, Orchids and Hoya. Clay Granulate consist of small flakes of crushed clay pebbles. It is perfect for a good water balance as it can absorb water and dispense it again when the plant needs it and gives a lot of oxygen to the roots. Thereby Clay Granulates are a very airy mixture. Depending on your plant you might only need to water it once over 3 to 4 weeks. This might sound scary as you’re probably used to watering more often. Of course you can also use these Clay Granulates to create your own mixture by mixing it with some sustainable soil and/or pine bark. It’s all up to you!

These Clay Granulates are very easy to use. Before you use them on your plant give them a good wash. This way you wash away some of the dust. This product is very economical as you can use it multiple times before needing to buy a new batch.

When using Clay Granulates for your plants it is good to know that you will need a fertilizer that is fitted for this substrate. We advise you to use Plagron Hydro A&B which is perfect for all plants on hydroculture, such as Clay Granulates, Pon mixtures, Grit mixtures or Clay Pebbles.
