Compared to the normal Alocasia Zebrina the ‘Compact’ has a few great advantages. The leaves are much very sturdy and leathery and the plant it self is stronger and less sensitive that the normal Zebrina. As you can tell by the name of this plant, the Alocasia Zebrina ‘Compact’ stays a bit smaller. Upon arrival the plant will be about 40 cm tall. It can grow a bit larger, but not as big as the regular Zebrina. Therefor Alocasia Zebrina ‘Compact’ or Little Zebrina makes the prefect room mate and is a real eye-catcher in any urban jungle.

With this knowledge it’s easy to fine a good place in your home for this plant. Place the Alocasia Zebrina ‘Compact’ in a warm spot were there is enough light. The plant is quite thirty so make sure the soil stays moist. In summer it’s advisable to give the Alocasia Zebrina ‘Compact’ a splash of water twice a week. In the cooler months once a week should do the job.
