Description

To keep the Caladium Strawberry Star in top condition, we are happy to give you some tips. To start, look for a good spot for your Caladium. The plant prefers a spot with indirect light. At all times, make sure that there is no strong sunlight on the plant. When it is really nice and warm in the summer, you could even place the Caladium outside in the garden or on your balcony. Also make sure that the plant is sheltered from the bright sunlight. The soil of the Caladium Strawberry Star may remain slightly moist. In general, it is not necessary to give Caladium supplementary plant nutrition.

In the fall, the Caladium Strawberry Star uses much less water, because the plant then slowly goes dormant. In winter, a Caladium can die. This is the normal life cycle of the plant. You can best store the plant in a cool place. In the spring you gradually put the plant back in a nice place in your house, possibly in some new potting soil.
