How to care for your Crassula Pagoda Variegata?
Light
Crasssula will thrive in bright light conditions. When the plant receives a few hours of direct sunlight and filtered light the rest of the day the plant will be the most happy. Be mindful to keep the plant out of cold draughts.
Water
In the growing season water your Crassula about every 2 weeks. In winter time you can scale back to once every 3 or even 4 weeks. Let the soil dry out between watering and water the Crassula Pagoda Variegata thoroughly the time has come to water.
Soil
Crassula Pagoda Variegata does well in a good draining soil. You can of course get a pre-made cacti soil from the garden center, or you can create your own. At least use a quality potting soil with perlite and perhaps even some sand. Most sucullents and cacti will also do well in a pon mixture or grit mixture.
Humidity
As for the humidity you don’t need to do anything special for your Crassula. These plants will be fine in any house hold or office conditions.
Fertilisation
In the growing season you can fertilize your plant without a problem. The rest of the year it’s not needed to fertilize your plant. Always check the care instructions before using the product.
Repotting
The best time to repot is during the beginning of the growing season. When you repot your plant it’s best to use a new pot which is 20% bigger. This will give the roots some space to continue to grow. Repotting can be done every two years.
Toxicity
Crassula are considered slightly toxic to both human and animals when ingested.
