Dischidiopsis are very closely related to Dischidia and Hoya. Expect somewhat of the same care pattern for this Dischidiopsis Philippinensis. Dischidiopsis Philippinensis is a super cute and funky looking plant. One that will definitely color up your home as it’s an easy and frequent flowering plant. Once in bloom it’ll give tiny reddish-purple flowers. As the name suggests this plant is native to the Philippines, just like many other Hoya and Dischidia.

Taking care of your Dischidiopsis Philippinensis is fairly easy. Give it a good place in your urban jungle where it gets sufficient daylight. By a west facing window should do the trick. Water the plant about once a week in the growing season. In this period do use a bit of fertilizer. That will probably appreciated by the Dischidiopsis Philippinensis. Of course a good soil medium is ever so important. If you use soil, make sure it is a well draining mixture. Keep the temperature nice and warm and a moderate humidity.
