How to care for your Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegata?
A good amount of indirect sunlight is recommended for the Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegata. A bit of morning sun is perfect. Foliage will come out beautifully and lush when grown in the right light conditions.
Generally speaking Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegata is an easy plant. How ever the plant does appreciate a good amount of water about once a week, especially in the growing season. Once the top few centimeters are dry you can water the plant again.
The soil should be an airy well draining mixture to avoid root rot. Try using one part coco coir, one partperlite and one part pine bark together for a good consistency. From our own experience we can tell you that this plant will also grow lush when potted up in a Pon mixture.
For the plant to thrive in your home we recommend to keep the humidity at a minimum of 60%. If you can a humidity of around 70% would be even better. With a lower humidity the leaves can crisp and that would be a shame of the great foliage.
Fertilizing your plants is a good idea in the summer months. Always follow the instructions given on the bottle for the right amount of fertilizer.
Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegata can grow very rapidly. Therefor repotting your plant once a year is a smart thing to do. Once the root system is well established in the pot, repot the plant into a slightly bigger one. Add a bit of fresh soil and your done!
The Epipremnum may cause irritation for humans and animals when ingested.
