The best thing about the Hoya Bella are probably the white and pink, star-shaped flowers that also smell wonderful.
The leaves of the plant are thick and waxy, just like the flowers. That is why the Hoya is also called wax plant. The Hoya Bella is originally found in Asia, Australia and the Pacific. A warm spot is therefore recommended for this plant. Be careful with direct sunlight to prevent burn marks on the leaves. The Hoya Bella likes a slightly moist soil, but pay attention that there is no layer of water left in the pot. Most plant do not not like to have ‘wet feet’. In the growing season you can choose to add some nutrition when watering occasionally (approx. once a month).
Is the Hoya Bella happy? Soon a lots of cute star-shaped flowers will hang on the plant! As soon as the flowers appear don’t move the plant! That will not do the flowering any good.
