How to care for your Peperomia Sarcohpylla?
Light
Peperomia plants thrive in a bright indirect sunlight. They can even tolerate a little bit of sun each day. If don’t have such a sunny home, Peperomia Sarcophylla will also be fine in partial shade.
Water
Watering your Peperomia regularly, about once a week, should be sufficient. Make sure you don’t over water the plant as this might cause root rot.
Soil
Peperomia Sarcophylla likes a well draining soil mixture. You can mix up some regular potting soil with perlite. If you want to go all out get yourself one of our aroid soil mixtures from our shop.
Humidity
An average humidity should be fine for your Peperomia. Try keeping it at a minimum of 50%.
Fertilisation
In the summer months you can fertilize your plant. In the colder and winter months no fertiliser is needed. Please always check the instructions on your own fertiliser if it has other care instructions.
Repotting
We would recommend repotting your Peperomia Sarcophylla once a year, or even once every other year. If the plant is root boud, replant it to a slightly bigger pot. If the roots are still fine, just add some fresh soil.
Toxicity
The Peperomia is toxic for humans and animals if ingested.
