This rare aroid is a beautiful hybrid between Philodendron Billietiae and Philodendron Atabapoense. It has the best features of both plants. Often it’s also referred to as Philodendron Billietiae ‘dark form’.
Philodendron Billietiae x Atabapoense has the same elongated leaf shape as the Philodendron Billietiae, but just a bit darker green. The undersides of the leaves have a burgundy color, just like to Philodendron Atabapoense. In the stems the cross is also clearly visible, with its dark red color. The stems of the normal Billietiae have a much brighter orange color while the Atabapoense has green stems.
