How to care for your Philodendron Snow Drift?
Light
The Philodendron Snow Drift thrives in a bright but indirect sunlight. It will ensure the beautiful foliage to come out strong with every new leaf. The plant will tolerate darker spots but the leaves probably will not grow much bigger.
Water
It doesn’t use too much water depending on your own climate. Watering the plant once a week should be all it needs. The plant likes it when the soil is a little moist. Make sure the soil doesn’t dry out.
Soil
The Philodendron Snow Drift doesn’t have many requirements. Make sure the soil has good drainage by using perlite or pot it up in a hydroponic solution.
Humidity
This Philodendron is a real though one and can survive in any home. Keep the humidity preferable at a minimum of 50%.
Fertilisation
In the growing season you plant will be very grateful if you add some fertilizer to the water. It will give the plant an extra kick to grow and get some much needed nutrients. In wintertime fertilizing you plant is not needed. The exact instructions can differ per type of fertilizer, so always make sure to check the bottle before using the product.
Repotting
The best time to repot is during the beginning of the growing season. As repotting your Philodendron Snow Drift should be fine with a repot once every other year. When the plant is very root bound use a new pot that is one size bigger. If not, just pot the plant in some fresh soil.
